1. Send the style, size and quantity
Send the Taobao or Tmall hanfu listing (or paste the full share message) with the style, colour, size and quantity. When a set has several pieces, such as a top, a mamianqun and a cape, say which pieces you want. Hanfu sizes are usually based on height, bust, waist and garment or skirt length in centimetres, and each shop uses its own chart, so check the shop's size chart and include your height and key measurements in the request. We order exactly the options you confirm and never change the size or substitute a similar style.
2. Pre-orders: confirm the shop's stated shipping time
Many original-design hanfu shops sell on pre-order with long production times, and some take a deposit first and the balance later. Tell us if an item is a pre-order; staff check the shipping time and payment terms stated by the shop, write them into the quote and order only after you approve it. The shop sets the production time and we cannot shorten it. Storage is free for 30 calendar days after warehouse receipt; if you want to wait for other pre-orders and ship together, mention it in advance.
3. Original designs only, no copies
The hanfu community cares a lot about original designs versus copies (often called shanzhai). ChinaCarty does not buy counterfeit or infringing goods, so please send links to the original shop. The basic warehouse check covers quantity, the confirmed colour and size and obvious visible issues, but it is not authentication or a quality appraisal; if you need more detailed checks, ask before purchase and they are agreed separately.
4. How the service fee works
The service fee is calculated on the actual item amount in CNY in your quote, after store coupons: CNY 6 up to and including CNY 100, or 5% above CNY 100. The seller's domestic shipping is listed separately and excluded from the fee base. The fee is charged per item, and several units of the same item and variant are calculated once on their combined amount, which suits clubs or friends buying the same style together. We apply the store coupons available to our purchasing account when we order. International shipping has no service fee; you pay shipping and any optional services you confirm.
5. Hanfu shipping: volume often matters more than weight
Hanfu, mamianqun and capes are often made of several layers of fabric. They may not be heavy, but they can be bulky once packed, and international routes may charge the higher of actual and volumetric weight. After warehouse receipt we measure and consolidate, then quote international shipping by chargeable weight, destination and available routes. If you want to keep original gift boxes or add reinforcement, say so first, because it changes the volume and cost. We ship to almost every country and region; transit time depends on the destination, carrier and customs.
6. Club orders, performance costumes and small-batch custom work
If you need a batch of the same style for a hanfu club, performance group or shop, or want a small custom run, send style references, quantity, size breakdown, fabric and budget first. Minimum quantities, sampling, prices and lead times are confirmed by the factory or seller, and we do not assume fixed numbers. When needed, we can arrange agreed visits to factories or market stalls, sample checks and pre-shipment inspection; these are project services with scope and cost quoted separately and carried out after you approve them.
