Examples exclude domestic and international shipping, photos, other optional services, payment-provider charges and destination taxes. Up to CNY 100 the fee is CNY 6; above CNY 100 it is 5%, rounded to cents. CNY 100.01 therefore incurs CNY 5.00: this is not a CNY 6 minimum at every value.
How Taobao, JD and Pinduoduo buying fees work
For ordinary manual purchasing, the fee is CNY 6 on an actual goods amount up to and including CNY 100, or 5% above CNY 100. Domestic delivery is excluded from the fee base. The fee is charged per item; several units of the same item and variant are calculated once on their combined amount. We confirm the seller, variant, availability and discounts available to our purchasing account before quoting. A screenshot price or another account's coupon is not automatically the final purchase price.
Purchasing / buying fee (goods stage): goods + domestic delivery + purchasing fee
For CNY 200 of goods and CNY 10 domestic delivery, the purchasing fee is CNY 10 and the first payment totals CNY 220. We do not apply 5% to CNY 210. This payment does not include unconfirmed international shipping or automatically include factory sourcing, samples, audits or third-party tests.
International shipping has no service fee; freight is separate
After warehouse measurement, shipping depends on actual and volumetric weight, destination, product attributes and available routes. ChinaCarty adds no service fee or percentage fee on international freight. If shipping is quoted at CNY 300 and no optional services are selected, that shipping payment is CNY 300. Destination taxes and separately listed carrier charges remain subject to the quote and applicable rules.
Zero buying fees do not prove the lowest total cost
A zero purchasing fee means that one fee is waived, not that the whole order has no other costs. Compare the actual goods price, payment exchange rate, domestic and international freight, payment-provider charges and optional services. We itemize our purchasing fee instead of using free as a substitute for a complete quote. For hypothetical goods of CNY 200, domestic delivery of CNY 10 and international shipping of CNY 300, our subtotal is CNY 520 before other charges. This illustrates the formula, not a current route price or proof of savings over another agent.
Warehouse photos and separately quoted sourcing
Each item includes 2–3 free warehouse inspection photos (quantity, variant, visible condition). Extra photos beyond that allotment are optional and charged at the published rate. Detailed inspection, reinforcement, supplier searches, offline sourcing, custom samples, factory audits and laboratory coordination require an agreed scope and separate quote. Ordinary purchasing fees do not cover every specialist service. Purchase feasibility also depends on Chinese export rules, destination import rules and carrier conditions.
USD, MYR and other payment currencies
Determine the tier from the goods amount in CNY first, then convert the resulting fee at the rate in your confirmed quote. CNY 6 is not USD 6 or MYR 6. Website conversions are indicative. Any payment-provider charges should be itemized before payment; the approved manual quote governs the order.
How store coupons lower both the item price and the fee
When we buy, we apply the store coupons available to our purchasing account at that moment. The service fee is calculated on the item amount after coupons, so a coupon saving is not cancelled out by the fee. Illustrative example (the same figures as the homepage, not a real order): a CNY 200 listed price with a CNY 20 store coupon becomes CNY 180, and the service fee is CNY 9.00; without a usable coupon the fee on the same item would be CNY 10.00. Coupons depend on the store and are not always available, and coupons or new-customer prices tied to your own account do not transfer automatically. Your quote shows the actual price after coupons.
What the published price list includes
The published price list covers: the actual item price (what our purchasing account can buy it for at checkout), the purchasing service fee (CNY 6 or 5%), warehouse photos (2–3 free per item; extras at the published rate) and international shipping quoted after warehouse measurement. The basic warehouse check (quantity, confirmed options, visible exterior damage) and 30 calendar days of free storage from receipt carry no separate charge. Most orders have no separate customs declaration fee; we charge it only when the courier requires it and itemize it in the quote before payment. Detailed inspection, reinforcement, supplier sourcing and testing are quoted separately after the scope is agreed. Destination duties, VAT/GST and clearance fees are set by the destination and are generally paid by the recipient.
Payment-provider charges
You can top up a USD shopping balance through Antom; before each payment you approve the CNY quote, exchange rate and USD bill. ChinaCarty adds no extra fee to Antom USD top-ups. When your order is placed, the item cost, domestic (China) shipping and service fee from your quote are deducted from the balance; the service fee base still excludes domestic shipping.

Frequently asked questions
Is CNY 6 the minimum service fee for every order?
No. Up to CNY 100 of goods the fee is CNY 6; above that it is 5%. CNY 101 incurs CNY 5.05, while CNY 200 incurs CNY 10.
Does no service fee on international shipping mean free shipping?
No. ChinaCarty does not add a service fee on international freight. International shipping, destination taxes and agreed optional services are still payable.
Can the goods price alone predict delivery costs to the USA, Canada or Malaysia?
No. Destination and postcode, parcel dimensions and weight, product attributes and available routes affect shipping. An estimate can be discussed before purchasing; international freight is confirmed after warehouse measurement.
Are customization and offline sourcing included in the buying fee?
Not automatically. Send photos, model numbers, quantities, budget, destination and the services needed. We confirm the sourcing or sampling scope, supplier conditions and separate costs before proceeding.
Is the fee calculated before or after store coupons?
After. For example (illustrative): a CNY 200 listed price with a CNY 20 coupon becomes CNY 180, so the fee is CNY 9.00, not the CNY 10.00 that would apply to CNY 200.
Will there be charges that are not in my quote?
ChinaCarty's service fee, domestic shipping, international shipping and any optional services you choose are shown before you pay at each stage. Destination duties, VAT/GST and clearance fees are set by the destination, are generally paid by the recipient and may not be known when you are quoted.
